Coach John Nelson made sure his girls were ready to run after a long winter break. They made a complete team effort en route to a 58-26 victory over Bridger Tuesday night.
“We knew we could take care of business,” said Tayler Wright.
The rest of the girls were just as confident and filled up the box score, individually and as a team. In the fourth quarter the Scouts only scored three points in their 32 point loss.
Joliet’s Shayla Webber and Danna Lynn Nardinger led the attack, both reaching double digits in scoring with 15 and 14. Tayler Wright added seven and Holly Nowak came within one point shy of double digits with nine points in an all-around balanced team effort where high scoring and fast play overtook their opponent.
They play again this Friday night in Big Timber, at 6 p.m.
